Dan Macdonald (he/him) is a Clinical Psychologist offering appointments on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

He sees adolescents (16+), adults, and couples.

Dan provides inclusive, evidence-based support for a range of concerns, including anxiety, OCD, trauma, identity and sexuality, emotion regulation, and relationship difficulties.

His approach is affirming, collaborative, and grounded in lived experience.

Dan draws on therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),  Mindfulness, and Imagery Rescripting.

Dan offers both individual therapy and couples therapy. In addition, Dan also offers neurodevelopmental assessment for autism, ADHD, cognitive functioning, and learning difficulties.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys reading, singing loudly (off-key), and spending time with his partner and their dog, Benjamin.
