Jemma Rollo

Jemma is a Registered Psychologist who has worked in clinical practice for over 15 years. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychological Practice; a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours); and a Master of Bioethics from the University of Sydney. Jemma is registered with AHPRA, Medicare and SIRA (WorkCover and CTP) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Jemma’s theoretical work on Pregnancy Ethics has been published in the International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics and she was interviewed for the IJFAB podcast.
Jemma has worked extensively with adolescents and adults across the lifespan, with a range of presenting issues including anxiety, mood disorders, relationship and workplace issues, disordered eating and non-directive pregnancy counselling.
Jemma works in a warm, collaborative, patient-centred style. She is passionate about helping people to understand their emotions, their beliefs about themselves and their relationships with other people. Jemma enjoys accompanying her patients on a therapeutic journey full of curiosity, exploring the causes of current concerns, and challenging patients to make behavioural change in line with their individual values in order to live a meaningful and engaged life.
Jemma works with clients aged 14+ who are able to participate in talk therapy. Jemma integrates evidence-based psychological treatment approaches including Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Graded Exposure Therapy and mindfulness-based therapies.
Jemma is available for Telehealth appointments at the Menzies Anxiety Centre on Mondays and Tuesdays.
